Lion of Judah
The Lion
He came to us as a Shepherd, a
gentle and tender man.
We did not know He was carrying out His Father's redemption plan.
He healed the blind and raise the dead
And for this his enemies put a crown of thorns upon His head.
He walked dusty roads talking to many along the way.
From His lips, Salvation was offered and is still offered today.
His miracles cannot be explained away.
His words are still preached providing His Light to show the way.
His was born as an earthly child and grew up into a man.
In His heart He knew He was to be the Sacrificial Lamb with nail prints in His
hands.
He was tempted by Satan but He was too wise to play Satan's game.
He was not to be tempted but to heal disease and His Father's Word proclaim.
Yes He can to us first as a tender spotless lamb indeed
But the next time He comes He will be coming for me.
He will not come as a gentle lamb but as a roaring mightily lion.
He will come suddenly and without notice from Mount Zion.
This time when He comes He will not come like the humble lamb.
This time when He comes He will be the Great I AM!
King of Kings and Lord of Lords this time will He be.
All the world will see Him from sea to everlasting sea.
He will be called the Lion of Judah and the Bright and Morning Star.
There will be no hiding for He knows just where you are.
He will separate His children from those who do not accept Him as King.
Around the crystal river you and I will sing.
Judgment will be falling upon this earth like never before.
The sad thing is there will not be one single escape door.
Then in final judgment the wicked will stand.
What excuse can they give to the Creator of all man?
He has not missed a single deed done by you.
He has kept them all safely in a bottle of blue.
No words or pleas will change His mind for the husband and the wife.
All they can do is watch while He checks for their name in His book of life.
"It is not here!" They hear Him say.
"I never knew you so depart from me this day!"
They can hear the song Just As I Am ringing in their ears.
They remember being almost persuaded and feeling the salty tears.
Pride stood in the way of Salvation that fateful day.
Now they stand in Judgment as the Lion begins to say.
"Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and
his angels. For I was hungry and ye gave me nothing to eat.
I was thirsty and ye gave me no drink.
I was a stranger and you did not invite me in.
I was naked and you clothed me not.
I was sick and in prison and you visited me not!"
They stood there in silence knowing full well Jesus they forgot.
He was a Lamb, a Shepherd and He knocked at their hearts door many times.
Now for eternity they will still hear the church bells chime.
If only they had taken that first little step Jesus would have taken their hand.
Instead of a life in hell they would be entering the Promised Land.
Yes Jesus is the Lion of Judah and He is coming when you least expect it.
Keep your lamp filled and be sure your name is written in God's Holy Writ!

Waiting for The Lion
Judgments of the
King of Kings
Yeshua came as the Son of man (glorified state hidden) not to judge, however, He
will return again. This time in his glorified state. He will return to stop man
from destroying himself and stop the nations (Gentile) from destroying Israel.
(Day of the L-rd, Jacobs trouble) That's why Yeshua is the Messiah. When that
day comes Yeshua said, "I will seek to destroy all nations attacking
Yerushalayim; and I will pour out on the house of David and on those living in
Yerushalayim a spirit of grace and prayer; and they will look to me, whom they
pierced." They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only Son; they will be in
bitterness on his behalf like the bitterness for a firstborn son. When that day
comes, there will be great mourning in Yerushalayim, mourning like that for
Hadad-Rimmon in the Megiddo Valley.
When Yeshua started his ministry He quoted:
Isaiah 61:1,2 "The Spirit of the L-rd G-d is upon me, because the L-rd hath
anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the
prison to those who are bound; (Anointed means Messiah or Christ)
He stopped reading there because the rest of the verse was a future prophecy for
when He returns. This states:
"to proclaim the acceptable year of the L-rd, and the day of vengeance of our
G-d; to comfort all that mourn" (Isaiah 61:2)
These have yet to be fulfilled.
The lamb will become a lion. That is why He is called the lion from the tribe of
Judah. (Rev 5:5)
Ezekiel 39:17 "Son of man, this is what the Sovereign L-rd says: Call out to
every kind of bird and all the wild animals: Assemble and come together from all
around to the sacrifice I am preparing for you, the great sacrifice on the
mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh of mighty men and drink the blood
of the princes of the earth as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls- all
of them fattened animals from Bashan.
There is a difference in the judgment one receives depending on whether one has
accepted him as their savior or not. If one has, then He will judge that one
according to what rewards one will receive. It is not a Judgment seat (bema) of
condemnation for them
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed
with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
(Rev. 1:12-13)
The girdle represents His strength of His judgment of truth. He wants His
believers to continue to shine brightly in the darkness of the lost world.
And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; Rev 1:14 ]
His feet like unto fine brass or burnished brass is symbolic of judgment. And
now He is judging those of us who are his own. Of course, there is also
commendation of Works, Love, Faith, Ministry, Patience, and Increased works.
Yeshua walks in the midst of the lamp stands, and He wants them to produce
light. He does this by allowing hard times in our life to expand our faith, so
we become a brighter light unto the lost. When we become dim, He is ready to
prune our wicks or prune our branches. If we continue in disobedience, sometimes
He may even allow our light to be snuffed out or our tree burnt. (Physical
death)
Rev 22:19 - And if any man shall take away from the words of the book (Bible) of
this prophecy, G-d shall take away his part out of the book of life (only
physical death for believers), and out of the holy city, and from the things,
which are written in this book.
Matt 7:17-19 - Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt
tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not
forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
In this life for believers there are still consequences of sin and consequences
for how we live and how we serve and follow him. Some of the judgments for
believer's can mean long life or a shorter life; however, their salvation is
still secure.
The same judgment applies for some churches:
When one loves him, one will be in a right relationship with him, but when one
begins to depart form Yeshua, it will finally lead to Luke warmness. The
apostate church is guilty of this. A lukewarm church is a disgrace to Yeshua and
He says He will spit it out of his mouth.(v16)
Yeshua said,
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy
crownP>
Many after time can depart from the faith. He issues the churches a final call
to repentance and an invitation to come to himself. "As many as I love, I rebuke
and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. He does not ignore what He sees.
He does not shut his eyes to sin and wrongdoing. (Rev.) He is the head of the
church. He wants His church to shine.
For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of G-d; and if it begins
with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel
(good news) of G-d? (1 Peter 4:17)
In this time of false doctrines, this is a verse is a warning that need to be
heard today.
There also seems to be much ignorance when it comes to the Plan of G-d
concerning Isra'el. (especially by some churches, ex: replacement theology) The
church in no way replaces Israel. Israel is a separate entity. And we should be
careful in how we treat Israel. (Whom that bless thee (Israel) He (G-d) will
bless, Whom curses thee He will curse.) He protects Israel and will one day
Israel will call upon Him. And when that happens He will come to be their
Messiah, those alive at that moment in Israel will all be saved.
Brothers, do not be misinformed, lest you think yourselves wise in your own
eyes, that a (partial) hardening has happened to Israel until the fulness of the
Gentile people has come in; and thus all Isra'el will be saved; just as it is
written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion, ... And this is My covenant with
them, When I take their sins. (they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for
the gifts and the calling of G-d are irrevocable....For G-d has sut up all in
diobedience that He might show mercy to all. (See Romans 9, 10, & 11)
It is different for the ones who have rejected Him out of unbelief before then.
(Jewish or Gentile)
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not
warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life;
the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at
thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness,
nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered
thy soul." (Ezek. 3:15-19)
We must warn all that we all are sinners (Jewish or Gentile) and that we all
need His grace and mercy. Some have accepted His free gift and others have not.
Those whom have not (Jewish or Gentile) and are still a lost prodical son. For
there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same L-rd is L-rd of
all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him
Rom 10:13 For whosoever will call upon THE NAME OF THE L-RD WILL BE SAVED.
but Isra'el, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law. Why?
Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though it were by works. They
stumbled over the stumbling stone, just as it is written,
Isa 8:14-15 "And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and
for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to
the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and
be broken, and be snared, and be taken."
For this is a word of promise:
Genesis 18:10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the
time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.
And to the point is the case of Rivkah; for twins were conceived in a single act
with Yitz'chak, our father; and before they were born, before they had done
anything at all, either good or bad (that G-d's plan might remain His sovereign
choice, not dependent on what they did, but on G-d's calling), it was said to
her,
Genesis 25:23 And the L-RD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two
manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be
stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
This corresponds with where it is written:
As it is written, Ya'akov have I loved, but Esav have I hated. Rom 9:13
What shall we say, "It is unjust for G-d to do such? No!
For He said to Moshe,
Exodus 33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I
will proclaim the name of the L-RD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I
will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Thus is doesn't depend on human wishes or efforts, but on G-d's mercy.
In the Tanakh Moshe delivered the L-rd's message to Pharaoh:
And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my
power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. Ex 9:16
So then, He has mercy on whom He wants, and He hardens whom He wants.
Then why does He still find fault? For who resists his will?
Who are you, a mere human, to talk back to G-d?
Will what is made say to him who made it, "Why did you make me this way?"
Or has the potter no right to make from a certain lump of clay one pot for
honorable use and that one pot for dishonorable? What if He did this in order to
make known the riches of His glory to those who are the vessels of His mercy,
whom He prepared beforehand for glory- to us, whom He called not only from among
the Jewish people but also from among the Gentile people?
The Gentile people, even though they were not pursuing for righteousness, have
obtained righteousness; but it is a righteousness grounded in faith (trusting)!
However, Isra'el, even though they kept pursuing a law(Torah ) that offers
righteousness, did not reach what the (Torah ) offers. Why? Because they did not
strive for a righteousness that grounded in faith (trusting) but that grounded
in doing works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.
As the Tanakh puts it,
Look, I am laying in Tziyon a stone of stumbling, a rock that will trip them.
But he who rest his trust on Him will not be humiliated. Isaiah 8:14
Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to G-d is for all including Isra'el to
come to salvation.
The goal that the Torah forshadows is the Messiah, who offers righteousness to
everyone who trusts.
So proclaim Him? - as the Tanakh puts it:
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth
good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that
publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy G-d reigneth!
I say, it isn't it that G-d has forgotten His people?" No!
G-d has not forgotten His people, whom He chose in advance. What does theTanakh
says about Eliyahu?
He pleads with G-d against Isra'el, "ADONAI, they have killed your prophets and
torn down your altars, and I'm the only one left, and now they want to kill me
too!" But what did G-d answer him? "I have kept seven thousand men who have not
knelt down to Ba'al."
It is the same, now: there is a remnant, chosen by grace. By means of stumbling
that the deliverance has come to the Gentile people also. But don't brag as if
you were better than the branches! However, if you do brag, remember that you
are not supporting the root, the root is supporting you...So don't be prideful;
on the contrary, be scared! For if G-d did not spare the natural branches, He
won't spare you. So look at G-d's mercy and His severity: on the one hand,
severity toward those who fell off; but, on the other hand, G-d's mercy toward
you- provided you maintain yourself in His mercy! (Again, See Romans 10 & 11)
Yeshua was G-d/Man. It was not a split person. Although I can understand how it
is hard to understand. But whether people might think it a split personality or
find it hard to understand. It is truth and should not be hidden. He was totally
man and totally G-d. He had a human and a divine nature. This is why I do not
understand people that say Yeshua was a good teacher and that is all. He was
either G-d in the flesh like He said or He was a liar and a deceiver. One or the
other, not both.
And Yeshua has many attributes:
Ezekiel 1:4-10 A huge cloud with flashing fire, four living creatures... human
face in front, lion's face on right, bull's face on left, and eagle's face
toward the rear.
These Four faces remind us of the four Gospels in which Yeshua is revealed.
His kingship (Matthew) symbolized by the lion.
His servanthood(Mark) symbolized by the ox
His perfect humanity (Luke) symbolized by the face of man. (Son of Man) His
deity (John) symbolized by the flying eagle
Also revealed in Rev. 4:6-8
Yeshua holds three offices: Prophet, Priest, and King. In Matt. 24 we see a
prophecy by Yeshua yet to be fulfilled.
In my study, I've come to the conclusion, Yeshua is involved in the White throne
Judgment. The White throne judgment is mentioned in Rev.20:11
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the
earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
This description correlates to the description of Yeshua's judgment of the
wicked in Rev. 6:12-17 (Great Tribulation)
the kings of the earth, and the rulers, the generals, the rich and the mighty-
indeed, everyone, slave and free- hid himself in caves and among the rocks in
the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from
the face of the One sitting on the throne and from the fury of the LAMB.
The Lamb describes Yeshua. The Lamb of G-d, who takes away the sin of the world.
The phrase
whose face the earth and the heaven fled away
in Rev. 20:11 sounds like the lamb in Rev 6:17
hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne...
This lamb of God will become a lion.
Rev 5:5-7 -And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of
the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to
loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne
and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had
been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of
G-d sent forth into all the earth. And He came and took the book out of the
right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.
